So, after a long day (not enough time to describe it now - we'll do that tomorrow since it'll be Friday and we have church), we are almost moved. We're not in Amman anymore. We're in a city 1 hour north called Irbid. It's on the maps in the back of the Bible, between the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea, to the east of the Jordan river. We're 30 minutes from the Syrian border, and are therefore close to Lebanon, Palestine, and the Golan Heights.
It's a beautiful area and not very many people live here - 40,000. There are bedouin tents all around and goats in the neighbor's yard. This is the real Middle East, not some westernized city!
So, that's all for now - we'll write about today tomorrow!
مع السلاما
